The story of my session with Natalie and Jake is actually a pretty funny one. When emailing about potential locations for the engagement shoot Natalie asked if I had ever heard of Deer Creek Marsh Wildlife Management Area and sent me some google images of what looked like a beach, some fields and other cute locations. I had never been there but I said hey, why not! Let's do it!
You guys. There's nothing at Deer Creek Marsh Wildlife Management Area. Ok, well, I take that back. There's an RV park. But that an engagement session does not make.
I instantly started watching for places while driving to meet them at our quick decision back up spot, Sandy Island Beach. An empty lot between houses, some random fields... I was starting to feel like we could make it work. And boy did we! Natalie and Jake are two of the mostly madly in love people I've met. They were so kind, so passionate about each other, and had the most epic response to the prompt, "Now run and hug like in the movies." I had so much fun with them and I truly believe two people could not be more incredibly perfect for each other!
